Quick update, as I'm almost out of time on the computer ...

Sorted out hostel accomodation no worries ... only 300 R a night. Then I walked down the mani street, Nevsky, and caught a concert by teh St P Philharmonic - 5 R. Saw the Hermitage today (for free - thanks to an ISIC student card I picked up in Moscow) ... I'll have to head back tomorrow because I didn't get past the egyptian and classical stuff ... in 3 hours.

All in all St P is much more attractive than Moscow, but Palace Square is a close second to Red Square.
